Welcome to the internet home of Donnerberg Rottweilers located on 30 acres in Live Oak, California which is 45 minutes north of Sacramento.  My name is Cheri Ruzich and my husband Ron and I own and breed Rottweilers from famous German pedigrees.  All of our adult Rottweilers and Rottweiler puppies possess sound temperaments, healthy bodies, excellent bone structure, and extremely high intelligence.  Donnerberg Rottweilers are calm, trainable, protective, courageous and devoted to their owners and family.  Our site is filled with original articles written by me and thousands of photos of Rottweiler adult dogs and puppies.  We offer help and education to anyone who inquires. We are proud to offer working and show quality Rottweilers as companion dogs.  The goals we strive for are to follow the FCI Rottweiler breed standard used by the ADRK in Germany, except that we do dock all our Rottweiler puppies tails.  All Rottweiler dogs owned or bred by us have certified hips by their country of origin or by the OFA, OVC, ADRK or Penn Hip here in America.  We are members of the Northern California Rottweiler Klub (Alliance of Independent Rottweiler Klubs) and we show Rottweilers and Rottweiler puppies in mostly European or German style shows and in the International All Breed Canine Association of America.  Our dogs are also successfully shown to their Championships in the American Kennel Club's shows. Donnerberg Rottweilers kennel name is registered with the American Kennel Club.  We started in Rottweilers in 1979 and bred our first litter of Rottweiler puppies about 10 years later. We are a Code of Ethics Breeder and all the Rottweilers we breed have hip and health clearances. We offer a lifetime of breeder support and give a hip and health guarantee.  If at any time that a puppy purchaser decides they don't want a puppy we sold or any dog or puppy bred from one of our stud dogs, we will take the puppy or adult dog back at any time during their entire life.  All Rottweiler puppies from Donnerberg Rottweilers are well socialized and raised inside the home and spend quality time both indoors and out.  Our dogs can live in any home and competitively compete and campaign at shows and working fields here, in Europe, and the world.
